The Whole Armor of God

I was born and raised in Chester, England – a city built in the first century AD by the Romans (known as Deva in the northern province of Brittania). Consequently, the Chester museum I often visited contained much in the way of Roman history, including Roman jewelry, coins, weapons and the Roman soldier’s armory. Here’s a photo of me as a six year old, dressed up at school as a Roman soldier. Yep, that’s me!

I’m also excited to be preaching a series on the whole armor of God right now at King’s Church. This Sunday’s message is scheduled to be “the breastplate of righteousness.”
