Good article.
“So you think you’ve married the wrong person, well they’re the right person now.” – John MacArthur doing a series on marriage.
The main focus for the Christian is marrying another believer.
1Co 7:39 A wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to be married to whom she wishes, *only in the Lord*.
2Co 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
Marrying an unbeliever will bring additional hardship on the Christian, and never think that doing so will be an act of evangelizing. God elects his sheep, and you have no way of knowing whether the perspective mate is one of the Elect or not. Thinking this way ignores the bible which is ignoring truth. Don’t kid yourself. You WILL have hardship.
