“Now brothers … that is some preaching! Thank you brother John!?” – DJM

“Very good sermon. This is the first sermon I’ve heard that truly presents the doctrine of predestination in a way that I can comprehend. Excellent stuff indeed!!?” – the crooner4jesus

Encouraging Feedback

radiomicAs many of you know, I have had the unique privilege of guest hosting his Dividing Line broadcasts.

Here are three comments I received just this morning:

Hey, brother. I just wanted to thank you for your walk-through of Acts 10 on the Dividing Line. I, and many others like me, can get so caught up on the many doctrinal depths and exegetical intricacies the Bible has to offer that we can neglect that which Paul said was “of first importance” (1 Corinthians 15:3), namely the clear and simple presentation of the Gospel. I thought you did a great job of capturing that in those episodes. Alex

I really enjoyed your talk on Justification. It was really helpful, glad to see you on The Dividing Line.

Pastor Samson,
I want to send some words of appreciation for your teaching recently on The Dividing Line. I am usually disappointed when the regular host of any of my favorite programs is not on the broadcast. You have been the exception. I am now a fan of your teaching. My heart is always enlarged by the reading and teaching of His Word that you bring to the broadcast.
May God bless your ministry. David

The twelve broadcasts (each of which last one hour) can be found at this link. I hope the teachings will be a blessing.

5 Hours on the Dividing Line

As you might already be aware, for the last couple of weeks I have had the distinct honor and privilege of hosting Dr. James White’s “Dividing Line” broadcast while he was away on a ministry trip to Europe. For those of you would wish to have all five youtube videos at one internet link, view here they are:

Hour 1. “Law and Gospel.”

Hour 2. “The Five Solas of the Reformation.”

Hour 3. The “T” in the TULIP, “Total Depravity:

Hour 4. The “U” in the TULIP, “Unconditional Election.”

Hour 5. The “L” in the TULIP, “Limited Atonement.”

Divine Election in the Scriptures

A friend of mine wrote to encourage me to repost the links to the six videos I made as a supplement to the “Twelve What Abouts – Answering Common Objections Concerning God’s Sovereignty in Election” book. They are made available free of charge. I hope they can be a blessing.

(1) The first session is on John chapter 6, verse 35 and following here’s a 27 minute teaching I did on Divine election and how it relates to evangelism, as well as what is referred to as the Golden Chain of Redemption.

(3) Romans 9 stands like Mount Everest – a majestic, spectacular, lofty and immutable testimony to God’s supremacy and sovereignty in salvation. Here’s a 36 minute video teaching I did on the chapter.

(4) Many Christians reject the biblical doctrine of God’s sovereignty in election because of traditions associated with the love of God and what amounts to a pagan concept of the human will, as I seek to explain in this 20 minute video teaching here.

(5) A biblical study of foreknowledge and the grace of God here.

(6) The three texts most often raised as objections to the Biblical doctrine of Divine election, namely John 3:16, 2 Peter 3:9 and Matt 23:37 here.
