  1. Was watching it until he made two comments. Do we have to say “Jeez” and “freaking” in a sermon to be relevant? I don’t need that and it was turned off after that. Ruined what had been a very good sermon up to that point. Sad

  2. Yes, Bonnie – I was hoping what you mentioned could be looked past for the sake of the other positive content but I understand if his vocabulary proves to be too much of a barrier for some.

  3. Isaiah was a “Man of Unclean Lips” I still read Isaiah, Paul said Dung (Former Murderer) I don’t discount Pauls Teaching,. 1 Cor 2:11 asks the ? For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the Spirit of the man which is in him. A Great Sermon, The Debate between Erasmus and Luthor and the “Bondage of the Will” rage’s on today. Total Depravity vs I’m Bad but not Totally. Gal 3:13, Gal 3:21-29 Gal 4:4-7

  4. So Isaiah used an expletive that was slang for Jesus? He was unclean because he swore? Wow, I’ve never seen that in God’s Word. Paul using a natural word like dung is comparable to using a modern term that is a poor substitute for swearing? Really the only reason I commented was that I respect Tullian for his strong stand for God’s Word. It would have been nice if he had stuck to it instead of adding “edgy” words that detracted from the message.
